Raja Ampat
Located north of Australia and west of Papua New Guinea are the islands of Raja Ampat, Indonesia where this virtual field trip takes place. The islands of Raja Ampat are found in the coral triangle, which contains the richest marine biodiversity on Earth. Raja Ampat, or the Four Kings, is an archipelago of more than 1,500 small islands covered in lush tropical forests and mangroves that lead to pristine coral reefs. Located between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, the coral reefs of Raja Ampat are the most biodiverse in the world teeming with fish and coral species from both oceans. The remoteness of these islands has left them relatively undisturbed by anthropogenic impacts.
Enjoy this 360° look into the life and ecosystems found above and below the waves of Raja Ampat, Indonesia.
Solomon Islands
Known in the history books for the WWII Battle of Guadalcanal, the Solomon Islands are a collection of diverse and thriving islands found in the south Pacific. Found east of Papua New Guinea, the islands cover a mere 11,000 square miles but extend almost 1,000 miles across warm equatorial waters. From WWII wrecks trapped in the forests and ocean floor for all time, to the vibrant life found throughout coral reefs and tropical rainforests, the Solomon Islands provide a glimpse into a diverse tropical oasis.

Grand Canyon
Located throughout northern Arizona, the Grand Canyon is one of the most studied geological landscapes in the world. The canyon offers a clear record of three distinct geological eras the oldest going back 2 billion years. The Grand Canyon is a 1.6 mile deep canyon that is cut through by the Colorado River and runs 277 miles. In 1908 President Roosevelt established the Grand Canyon as National Monument, followed by President Woodrow Wilson declaring it the 17th U.S. National Park in 1919. Due to the extreme variation in elevation throughout the Grand Canyon, it is inclusive of multiple ecosystems including forests, deserts, and river systems.
Experience a voyage back in time as you raft down the Colorado River through the towering walls of the Grand Canyon, a World Heritage Site.
